Ade Adeogun is the Managing Director of Magnum And Hunter Limited a Lagos based company specializing in real estate investment, infrastructure development and management of tangible assets. He is also on the board of three other companies where he is actively involved in Change Management, Business Planning as well as Leadership Development.
His work experiences spanned the public sector where he held positions in the Federal Government and the Rivers State Government for over twenty years as well as the private sector where he worked in several consulting capacities rising to the position of a Chief Executive Officer.
Ade was Managing Director of the Rivers State Waste Management Company where he midwifed the transformation of an inefficient fund guzzling organization into an efficient service and people oriented agency, through reorientation of staff, elimination of waste and a new emphasis on service delivery. He was responsible for the introduction of a waste monitoring system that placed great emphasis on zero tolerance for waste dumping on the ground and in public places. In the midst of the crisis that engulfed the Rivers State House of Assembly between 2013 and 2015, he used his effective liaison and people management skills to ensure the passage of the Rivers State Waste Management Bill in 2014. This bill was the only non-fiscal bill passed by the Assembly through out this period.
Ade Adeogun was also a Special Adviser to the Government of Rivers State on Security between 2007 and 2011. He advised on and supervised the formation of a Command Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence Center (C4i) to coordinate the activities of all the security agencies in the state. Through his effort and management, the C4i that was the first of such center in Nigeria, raised the efficiency of security formations in Rivers State by creating a unified command and control structure and eliminating inter agency rivalries.
He attended some of the best educational and training institutions in the United Kingdom, USA and Nigeria. He is a proud alumnus of the Manchester Business School, UK, The United States Merchant Marine Academy, which is the premier institution for training of merchant marines and marine transportation operators in the USA, as well as the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s premier institution.
He is the Founder of the Prosperity Africa Leadership Foundation, an organization formed for the purpose of nurturing leaders, empowering youths for economic independence and nation building.
